Glass Casting + Wire Forming

My sculptural portfolio was an experimentation—the intersection of two media (wire and glass), two ideas (function and form), and two eras (the Industrial Revolution and the present). I drew my inspiration from the history of technology, starting with the Industrial Revolution, where function was valued above all else, to the present, where form and function have become equals, and into the future, where pure aesthetics may overtake function completely.
