Stanford Cue-Centered Therapy Course

From 2019 to 2021, I served as the lead graphic illustrator for Stanford’s Cue Centered Therapy course, led by Dr. Victor Carrión, renowned for his work on post-traumatic symptoms in adolescents. This course primarily focuses on training therapists to better assist youths dealing with trauma through the form of case studies.

In my role, I crafted numerous character designs, conceptual illustrations portraying the intricate nature of trauma, and didactic illustrations tailored to engage and assist viewers. My work for this project includes the development of graphic novels for each character, featuring Brian, Michelle, Tasha and Nelson—based on former patients of Dr. Carrión's team. Selected excerpts from each novel, along with standalone images, can be explored below.
